Pipeline infrastructure is one of the biggest strengths that Louisiana has at its disposal. It gives the state a competitive advantage, offering incentives to companies looking to make the Bayou State home.
Stephen Waguespack, President of Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), believes pipeline infrastructure, like the Bayou Bridge Pipeline, has an unparalleled value in Louisiana. Because of its importance he knows we must continue to invest in, upgrade, and improve our energy infrastructure to make sure Louisiana doesn’t lose that advantage.
With nearly 20 years of experience in federal and state politics, Mr. Waguespack has earned a name for himself as an active voice in Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University for his undergraduate degree, before serving as a top advisor in former Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, including chief of staff and executive counsel.
Currently he is the President and CEO of LABI, the largest business advocacy group in the state, representing more than 2,200 business members and 324,000 employees.
Mr. Waguespack recently joined Louisianians for Energy for a discussion about Bayou Bridge and the amazing benefits of the energy industry in Louisiana – watch the full video here:
